The nature of Hinduism in view of their God is controversial. There are some people who believe that Hinduism is monotheistic because it believes in one God and there are different names which are used to refer to their God. Other feels that Hinduism has different gods and the different names they use are actual names of their respective gods.
This religion can be considered monotheistic in the sense that it binds different individuals under one religious movement and we can say that they have same values and goals. However a close look at the religious will reveal that it is polytheistic and they worship different gods.
