In this case, this study will give a comparison between the phenomenon of the Creole West Indian woman with the characters of Bertha Mason in the of Wide Sargasso Sea. On this basis, the main ideas that will be addressed in this study are the concepts of biculturalism, biracial, social stratification or organization, roles of women during the 1700s and 1800s, and ani0colonist sentiments among others. In overall, this study will analyze the above mentioned concepts from the book and compare them with a historical notification research about the Creole West Indian woman (Bronte 34).
