Will Environmental Issues Increasingly Dominate Foreign Policy In Coming Years
answer
The foreign policy of many countries from the past has always been concentrated on issues to do with national security, economic development, international trade, human rights and the relations between countries. According to these criteria the policies were seen to be directed toward economic benefit of the countries concerned. In the recent past however, a certain trend has begun to emerge (Anderson, 2000 p.456).
Will Environmental Issues Increasingly Dominate Foreign Policy In Coming Years
In the developed countries starting with Australia there has been lots of concern about the environment. Climate change has been an outstanding issue that affects the developing countries more than the developed countries and is continued to be ignored by the latter (Miller and Henry 2000 p.239). The argument is that economies of the developing countries are dependant on natural environment for sustainability and development; this is basically agricultural activities, conservation and tourism.
