As per the requirement, I chose to select the Adelaide to Glenelg route. The route seems to be
one of the busiest routes since it connects two places that are highly populous i.e. Adelaide and
Glenelg. Adelaide has different facilities and social amenities making it many people’s
destination point. Some of the amenities and facilities in Adelaide are schools, parks, a
university, a mall, a zoo, Adelaide oval and various others. This is clear indication that Adelaide
is a busy area and is mostly used for business purposes and not as a place of residence.

Glenelg on the other hand is closer to a beach making it many people’s destination either as an
area of residence or for leisure purposes. One of the main reasons why people would head to
Glenelg is because of the availability of a beach and a beach house where fun activities can be
carried out. The route from Adelaide to Glenelg has a number of Terraces along the way and
using light rail to maneuver through the terraces is just efficient. Since the route is busy, many
people are expected to use light rail to travel since it is cheaper and faster. The route is also
less prone to accidents since it mostly passes through parks where there are lesser factors that
may cause accidents i.e. lesser buildings and lesser population.

Lastly, the Adelaide – Glenelg route is quite straight forward making it hard for anyone going
through the route to get lost along the way. There are lesser meanders involved and the light rail
road is in an almost straight route. This enables faster and safer travelling since trains on the
light rails are able to move at a faster speed. Below is a diagram that shows the Adelaide –
