Since the end of colonization in America, the UK and U.S have maintained a very cordial relationship. From the First World War to the war on terror, the two countries have forged a close working relationship to confront their enemies.  Their relationship has been close such that the phrase “special relationship” has been coined to describe their close political, diplomatic and historical relationships.  This term has been used since the 1946 speech delivered by Winston Churchill in which he clarified  how the two countries have worked in each and every step as close friends.  While US and UK have relationship with many other countries, the relationship in different areas like military planning and operation, nuclear weapons, and intelligences  is unparalleled compared to  relationship in other major powers.
