The Sleepers is a great film produced and directed by Barry Levinson in the year 1996. The film is extremely overwhelming, whereby it has been based on Lorenzo Carcaterra’s 1995 novel. Despite that the film is based on an extremely controversial novel; it is credited for telling what is purported as true story concerning revenge in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. The film presents four early-teenaged friends sent to juvenile center. This is following a prank that went wrong and nearly killing a bystander. In regards to this film, a series of indictment have been demonstrated concerning various actions of the characters. These phenomenons contribute to the identification of the film, whereby it is referred to as a legal drama. This paper will provide an explicit and in-depth analysis of the film and specifically providing an indictment of the crimes committed in the film.
