Culture is dynamic. What is acceptable to one culture may not be acceptable in other cultures depending on the lives of the people. The diversity of human values and beliefs in the world leads to variation of culture. Business practices draws a lot from cultural practices of the people. This means that one business practices may be acceptable in one country be unacceptable in another. A good manager must be culturally sensitive and must understand the cultural implications of doing business with people from different cultures.
For this assignment, I took Cross Cultural Quiz 2 that helped me to interrogate my extent of cultural awareness. This assignment asked several questions regarding to culture of different people and who they impact on business practices. The quiz had a business focus and looks at some of the common situations that business managers are likely to come across and how they can handle them.
