The Decision to Invade Iraq

The decision to invade remains one of the most controversial issues in the history of the United States. Although an ethical analysis of this decision might be overrun by the events, considering the state of Iraq today, it is nevertheless an important point of reference for future decisions for any country. For a hegemonic superpower like the United States, this decision remains a mistake that will have print marks in centuries to come. It was a unilateral decision that was driven by emotions rather than facts to the best of my knowledge, it was wrong.
