The three key perspectives which are used while studying sociology include functionalist, conflict and internationalist. When studying the society, we are likely to use different perspectives and therefore these three approaches accommodate the different approaches we can take.
A functionalist perspective includes a sociological approach which tends to emphasize the different ways in which the society is structured and how it functions in order to maintain stability. Functionalist approach looks at the society in a more positive way seeing the different structures of the society which work to maintain its stability. Different social aspects are integrated to ensure the survival of the society with each playing its own specific part.
