Description

Self-reflection and self-assessment are important components of a counselor’s professional training and development. By using the two, a counselor or a psychotherapist is able evaluate areas of strength and areas or weaknesses and thus be able to improve appropriately (Corey, Corey, & Corey, 2013). As such, self-reflection in addiction counseling is not an exception but a crucial part of winding up the course.
