Reduviiidae is a large predatory insect that is found in the suborder of Heteroptera. It is found in the class of thread-legged bugs (USAF, 2010). It grows to a size of 4 to 40 mm with elongated head and a narrow neck (Caras, 1994). There are more than 7000 species and most of them are dark in color. Reduviiidae produces sound that is a tactic used to scare predators and can also use rostrum to deliver painful bite (Weirauch & Munro, 2009).
