The office of federal contracts program gives assistance of technical nature to the various contractors and sensitizes them on the federal requirements and the process of contracting. In addition, the agency is mandated to investigate on the compliance status of federal contractors and subcontractors and address on any complaints received. As such, conciliatory agreements are signed between the agency and the offenders where such requirements have been violated. Compliance reports are then prepared to show the progress on the compliance by the contactors. Where labor violation is witnessed the office could also recommend for the contractor or contractor to be debarred from participating in federal contracts.
