Prejudice and Discrimination
Prejudice and discrimination are two practices that are against human rights. Many people have suffered as a result of being prejudiced and discriminated in one way or another. Prejudice and discrimination can happen across the all divides of life vertically and laterally.
Vertically, it normally stems from those who are a bit powerful against a minority or a less powerful group. On the other hand, it can laterally happen to individuals in one class of life. Rwanda is one of the countries that have suffered from prejudice and discrimination which led to genocide of close to a million people in 1994. This article addresses the issue of discrimination and prejudice in Rwanda, reason behind it, as well as the effects that these vices have had in the group.
