In stalking, evaluation forms assist in examining police response and report concerning a reported offence. On this basis, this form helps in identifying problems concerning the way police responded in order to take quick actions for correction of these reports. Additionally, the information contained in this form help in providing feedback to the police department and to the community on the way police are responding to the reported cases. Further, this form is used by the law enforcement agencies in surveying reported case victims as a way of internally controlling their officers’ handling of reported cases. Importantly, evaluation form is composed of questions which are answered by the victim of an offence showing how police reported to his/her phone call (Snow, 2001).
