Change is inevitable in any organization. Organizational change is meant to align the operation of the organization with the changes taking place in the environment.  Organization change is elicited by internal and external forces. Leaders are in a better position to implement change in an organization but they must first have a clear understanding of the change process, what it entails, possible barriers, and formulate ways to overcome barriers including different kinds of resistance to that change.
