MBA503-Assessment 4 – Speech Note

Operation Management and Decision-Making

Most important, I have found this course has furthered my understanding of operations management and decision-making. From learning about the basic principles of operation management and decision making in class, participating in the group project, and reviewing the projects by other groups helped me understand how these principles are put into practical use in the real world.

There are important skills that I have gained throughout this course, but the most important leaning that on operations management and decision making that I can apply in practice as a manager in my organisation is the need to make operation decisions that involves a close consideration of the business environment and the stakeholders, although the focus should be on increasing efficiency and reducing cost.
