The main objective of this recruitment will be to fill the existing gap of nurses in acute care. The recruitment process will therefore be geared towards putting in place the most competent nurses to work in acute care. The recruitment process aims at recruiting five most competent acute care nurses.
The recruitment process will mainly target nurses competent to work in the acute care units. The recruitment will therefore be aimed at looking for registered nurses who hold the required qualifications and have experiences of not less than five years working as a nurse. However the recruitment process also targets nurse who may have worked in emergency rooms, operating rooms, and critical care units for not less than three years.
Nurses for the job will be recruited both internally and externally. Internal recruitment will open the position for nurses working in other departments who wish to undergo further training in order to work in acute care units (Mathis and Jackson, 2004).
