Intelligence is a term that is used to described some abilities of the mind like the individual capacity to reason, plan, communicate using language, learn different concepts, plan and resolve problems, abstractive thinking, and many others. Gardner and Seana (2006), argue that it encompasses different traits including creativity, individual characters, knowledge and wisdom, personality and others. There are different theories exploring aspects of intelligence, based on general intelligences unilinear construct and multiple intelligences. Most theories of intelligence are usually based on psychometrics testing or tests based on intelligence Quotient or IQ. One of the theories of intelligence that has revolutionized our understanding of intelligence is Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. In this paper we are going to review the multiple theory of intelligence by Howard Gardner.
