The methodology of teaching mathematics has over the years remained controversial. Despite the diversified research studies and scholarly works concerning the modes of teaching mathematics, an efficient approach has not been realized. In specific, the topic on Pythagorean Theorem has been the most controversial in most education systems. In this case, an appropriate approach for introducing the topic students has been lacking. Based on this phenomenon, there has been every need to undertake a comprehensive research study so as to devise strategies and approaches for introducing the topic. This is in relation to the sensitivity and worth of the topic in mathematics and education as a whole. With these ideas in mind, this research study will seek to explore the most effective way of introducing Pythagorean Theorem to students. This is a key issue of concern in the education system and more specifically in teaching of mathematics, thus the need for research. In the research study, scholarly articles concerning the topic will be profoundly reviewed. The research will basically dwell on secondary data, which in this case will involve scholarly reviewed journals under the topic of Pythagorean Theorem. The theories, concepts, methods and models adopted by each author in addressing the topic will be adequately focused in reviewing the literature. This will help in mobilizing information to answer the research topic. A point worth of consideration is that information and answer provided by the research study will help in enhancing efficiency in the instruction of the topic and mathematics in general.
