In the recent past, Microsoft bought out Nokia with the aim of penetrating in the smart phone market that has largely been dominated by Apple and Samsung (Singh 2014). Microsoft is worldly known for its innovative products that have helped in transforming the world. After a deal with Nokia, Microsoft has produced various types of smart phones which are using a windows operating system with the aim of giving customers an alternative to android platform smart phones. This marketing research looks at how Microsoft can be able to penetrate in the already congested smart phone market.
