Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate which is relatively stable throughout the year characterised by no distinctive seasons, homogeneous pressure and temperature, adequate rainfall, and high humidity (BBC News, 2015). Singapore’s temperatures often range between 22 and 35 °C (72 and 95 °F). The average humidity is estimated at 79% and 73% in the morning and afternoon respectively. The hottest months are April and May while November to January is the wetter monsoon season (National Environment Agency, 2015).
