Description

Jelaluddin Rumi, who lived from 1207 to 1273, was a Persian poet whose love poems are loved by many people. He has looked into the theme of love from different perspectives in poems. On the other hand, Sappho was a 7th century BC poet who is renowned for Greek lyric poet.  He was an awesome poet who also explored the theme of love in different dimensions. Love was a common theme that was explored by both poets.  Both author share the same meaning of love as a great force that is beyond human control and their govern relationship between people and between people and their environment.
