The employees work life balance critical in fostering the employee engagement and job satisfaction. Kaliannan, Perumal, & Dorasamy(2016) posit that when work and personal life balance, it is a win-win case for both the employee, the organization and the society at large. Today, the business sphere presents a  dynamic existence making it more challenging than ever for employees as most jobs demand more attention and time for excellence. Putting extra hours on the job, most employees are forced to overlook their personal lives to meet their job requirements. “Do employees live to work or work to live?” This is a question that the Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs can best answer providing an explanation for the lack of balance in the present era(Barrert, 2009).
