With the emerging importance of information technology in the world, it is now considered one of the vital components for operation of any organization. Information technology is at the heart of efficient operation of almost all organization to such an extent that most organization would cripple without effective IT departments. Being at the heart of the world economy, it means that this new field is finding inroads into various facets of organizational operations, one of them being organization culture. IT has become dominant owing to the manner in which it has revolutionized business operations. This has however come with new challenges in integrating this new facet to already existing and well established economic and business operation facets. According to Porter (1992: 178) organization culture encompass one of the most important faces of organizational operation because culture affects the way in which any organization conducts its business.
