The industrial revolution fist occurred in Britain before spreading to the other countries in Europe and the rest of the world. This was as a result of different factors that favored Britain to pioneer in industrialization. Importantly, the industrial revolution had some effects on many aspects in the whole of Britain. In this case, the agricultural sector was heavily affected as a result of improved means of farming and the new technology in agricultural practices. Additionally, the factory system was affected as the industrial revolution brought about the improved technology in industries. As a result of this, the industries and factories in Britain produced products of higher quality as compared to what was produced there before. Further, the mining industries were heavily affected especially with the introduction of steam power that eased the process of mining iron and coal (Chadwick 2009; 89).
