The message strategy selected for this Telstra is the use of mixed approach to reach customers through different medial channels. The company has carried some emotional taglines like ‘We Are Australian’, a message that is meant to inspire national hood. The strategy has a good visibility because of the tagline. It has been one of the most visible advertisements in Australia and was written in 2002 by the company. The strategy used a feel strategy to invoke nationhood among Australians. The message push communication approach is to inform customers about the products they are offering while the pull approach is used to enhance customer support thereby building relationship with customers (Powell, Groves, & Dimos, 2011).
