Project management is as old as human history. People have carried out various projects for the purpose of development. Hence, as a developer your main goal is to guard your reputation as it is your biggest asset-you will be referred by others from your past work. With technological advancement, information technology (IT) project have increased tremendously. Almost every project is eased by integrating it with IT. However, this is not without its flip side. Lack of proper and adequate planning has resulted to collapse of projects (Bernard, 2007). Project management entails every person involved in its execution thus when information technology project fails it seldom is a result of technology (McKenzie, 2010).
