Group Work

Group Work

answer

There is always hesitation among students, colleagues at work and the general public regarding whether or not to involve others in decision making process. The old saying “a camel is a race horse chosen by a committee” emphasizes the slow activity sometimes inefficiency of the groups leading to failure to accomplish tasks or resulting to the work being left to an individual who will feel overburdened. This however does not water down the advantages of group work. It is through group work that the individual will develop a number of skills and be able to gain self – knowledge (Frankel, 1990).
