Government Is Dominated By Big Business
Ever since the ratification of American consititution in 1787, there have been opposing views on the powers of common people and their say in the governemtn comopared to the power of the rich like the business elites. One of the signers of Declaration of Indpendece Rochard Henry Lee was the first to echo the view of the anitfederalist who aregued that the proposed charter was likely to shift power from the plain people to the hands of a minority aristocrats and moneyites. The same voice was echoed before the civil war by Democrats who were opposed to eastern merchants and bankers for taking power from the people.
There were many radical political parties which came after the civil war which later formed People Part caling for resoration of economic and political powers back to the people. Away from the USA, the case is the same elsewhere. The business elite usually have more influence in political and economical matters as compared to others. (Moyers, 2004)
