The popularity of homeschooling is increasing on a daily basis, with an annual growth rate of approximately eleven percent. An estimated two million students are presently being taught at home. The performance of homeschooled kids in standardized tests is good and they are welcome to enroll in colleges and universities. It is argued that such kids when they become adults have a self directed reputation as reliable employees and learners. This argument is reinforced by a statement that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, and Thomas Edison all share one thing in common; they were all homeschooled by their parents.
