Business ethics is concerned with the integrity at the place of work. This defines the implication of managers acting with integrity, whether functioning in the public or private sector in the domestic and global environment. Business ethics is an integration of current theoretical work covering normative and descriptive ethics. This incorporates communication, quality, legal, and theories of organization in a conceptual framework (Bowie, 2004).
This enhances managerial judgment when it comes to dealing with moral complexity at places of work. However there is need for further research oriented experience to give business ethics a practical assessment and tools for decision making which convert theories of ethics to sound steps of action. Management integrity is build through linkage and improvement of management competence and ethics in responsible ethical planning, controlling, organizing and leading.
