Description

Cultural legacies refer the act of cultures being copied from one generation to another through behavioral emulations. It has been revealed that, social interactions are governed by social laws that monitor and determine human behavior and their interaction within social contexts. Cultural legacies are sociological aspects which try to interpret and understand social behaviors in order to arrive at viable conclusions of the causes and effects involved in human actions. This is mostly influenced by the structure and formalities within the society, and the consequences that human action has on social life. All human behavior or activity is social therefore sociology deals with a wide range of contexts beginning from small intimate family settings to the more complex groups and organizations including religious, race, gender and social class distinctions. Sociology provides different perspectives on the social world and utilizes research techniques that can be used to generate new ideas and form a conceptual basis for critiquing the old ideas (Plummer 48).
