Description

The conflict in Syria is one of the catastrophic events of the 21st century that makes us think we are still held in medieval ages. In his article, Dizard   relooks into the events in Syria as they unravel  after the United National passed a resolution two month ago that called for the government forces and the rebels to stop bombing and shelling of the residential areas. However, Dizard argues that the resolution has not been observed and both sides continue to bomb civilian areas. Although the situation in Syria has attracted the attention of the world, it still continues to be case example of violation of human rights in the 21st century.
