During my final match in Tae-kwo-ndo contest that was being used to determine the player who will qualify for the international match in Canada, my opponent and I moved our feet in the play ground in an attempt to score. Any chance lost means that you are disqualified and hence could not be able to go ahead with the match. In this case, I had to be more tentative to avoid knockouts as they were direct disqualifications in this match. Is I was fighting, I could hear his cheering squad encouraging him by cheering for him especially when he tried to score. I could not allow it as receiving a sing kick in Tae-kwo-ndo means you are defeated. There was no one to cheer for me that could at one time make me loose hope and confidence. Suddenly I heard my coach’s voice and I recognized it as it was very loud. As I gave off a yell, I gathered courage and was able to score a point that made me qualified for the international match.
