In business marketing, the efforts are focused on the sale of the products, which have been manufactured. The products can be anything ranging from cars, drugs, hair products etc. Currently we have a service industry that has much weight compared to the manufacturing sector in our economy. We will find that we have more labor in the field of provision of services than we have in manufacturing. This shows that that sector is expanding very fast. Take for example in the US; we have more than eight in every ten workers working in areas of transportation, retail, health care, entertainment, and even education (Cole, 2005, p. 23). In that country alone, the service industry account for more than seventy percent of the gross national product. This sector has been the topmost in the provision of new jobs (Caves, 2000, p. 55).
