There are lots of studies about African Americans on various perspectives and comparing them with other groups of people in America. One of the most researched topics is their performance at job in comparison with the whites. In the recent past, there have lots of condemnations of studies and researches that seem to claim that the performance of African American compared to their whites counterparts are inferior. This paper aims at analyzing, evaluating the work by Berry and Zhao who sought to study the cognitive ability of African Americans. The authors believed that there is biasness and the existing cognitive test scores over predict African Americans’ job performance.
