To begin with, business to business marketing is the process through which companies or businesses market their goods or services to other businesses with the aim of increasing sales. On the other hand, business to consumer marketing is the process of marketing goods directly to the final consumer. It should further be noted that the primary goal of B2C marketing is aimed at converting shoppers into buyers and thus widening the market. On the contrary, B2B marketing is aimed at building business relationships; whereby the company uses other business entities to market its goods while leaving allowances for those businesses to make profit (Harrison, 2010).
