Annotated Bibliography: Human Irrationality
The contributions of Dan Ariely in the fields of behavioral economics and psychology are overwhelming. Being an Israeli American professor, Dan Ariel has demonstrated his expertise and knowledge in the fields of psychology and behavioral economics through his two books. The books ‘Predictably Irrational’ and ‘The Upside of irrationality’ are hotly selling in the market. This is based on the genius ideas and knowledge illustrated in these books. Ariely’s books have been identified as best seller in New York, whereby they attract a high number of readers and more so in the field of psychology and economics. The main themes in his books are the concept of human irrationality in decision making. The aspect of behavioral economics has also been explicitly addressed by Dan Ariely in his books. This paper will provide an evaluative annotated bibliography on Dan Ariely’s assumptions on human irrationality.
