With the onset of modernization and increase of illiteracy in the society, gender equality in workplace has been hypothesized. However, the reality on how gender gap in workplaces in workplaces has been prevalent in the contemporary organizations. Further, employment criteria employed by many employers seem to favor men, where some women who are offered employment opportunities are sexually molested by their bosses. With cyber bullying becoming a major challenge in workplaces, women are the most susceptible to this kind of psychological torture, thus declining their productivity. To mitigate this, the legislation should empower women by informing them of their rights as employees, besides establishing a wide network of surveillance to help detect any form discrimination on women in their workplaces.
