Many regions in the world have suffered hunger as a result of failure to produce large quantities because of climatic changes. A number of productive areas have turned to desert and hence measures should be taken to ensure that food production is sustainable for all populations.

            In summary, the cons of using genetically engineered foods in ending world’s hunger outweigh the pros and hence it is not considered as a solution. The main problem of food shortage in developing countries is poverty hence even though genetically engineered foods would be introduced some people would not be able to purchase them.
